Cruzers' Derby Night at the Museum 2024

The Cruzer’s Derby event is based on the Pinewood Derby, which has been traditionally held by Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts for many years. To participate in the Cruzer’s Derby, you will carve and decorate your car using an official Pinewood Derby car kit. These kits can be purchased for $10 anytime the Museum is open or on Friday nights beginning June 7.

Want help building your car and testing it when you’re done? We’re offering two car-building workshops and two time-trial sessions—register and pay using the form below.

You can register for events individually or get a discount when you register for a package deal.

The big race will be on August 23, 2024, at 6 pm. This event will include car races and prizes—sign up now!

All events will be held at the museum located at 2640 E. Seventh Ave, North St Paul, MN 55109.

Refund Policy*

Refunds will only be issued if the cancellation occurs no fewer than 7 calendar days before the scheduled workshop date.
